ROADKILL

I am excited to say that I am about to launch a new range of plates (at last)! The mini series is called Roadkill. It's a range of two 10" plates and two 8" plates. All hand made the traditional way with my illustrations silk screen printed on to fine bone china and made in England - the same as my previous range. The Roadkill is a gentle reminder that the meat you've just eaten was once a living animal.

SUPERMODEL IN COLOGNE

The New English recently took my skeleton plates on vacation to Cologne for Blooom – the creative industries art show which forms part of the fantastic Cologne Art Fair. Looks like a nice little booth they had themselves there.

THE BOOK OF SKULLS

One of my plates is in a lovely new book! Buy it now from Tate, Magma, Urban Outfitters, Colette, Paul Smith, Colette and all the usual book places.

Taken from the Laurence King website...

The skull is one of the most recognizable symbols of today’s contemporary visual culture. Adorning T-Shirts, badges and rock memorabilia as the ultimate symbol of anarchy and rebellion, the image of the skull has found its way into the vocabulary of urban life.

In response to this cultural phenomenon, The Book of Skulls presents a cool visual guide to the skull, charting its rebirth through music and street fashion to become today’s ultimate anti-establishment icon. From the Grateful Dead to skater punk graffiti, from haute-couture to Damien Hirst, this book is the ultimate collection of iconic and unusual skull motifs.

Packaged in an amazing 'skeleton' binding and drawing together artwork from music, fashion, street art and graphic design, The Book of Skulls is a celebration of one of today’s most iconic cultural symbols.
